Hello, my name is Huong Nguyen, but many parents and students know me simply as Coach Huong Asia. I’m a PCI Certified Parent Coach®, mindfulness educator with over 25 years of experience in adult education and over 12 years focused on supporting parents and children. I bring a unique East-meets-West approach to parenting grounded in both scientific knowledge and mindfulness-based practices.

I currently live in North Carolina, USA, where I work as an education specialist for the local school district and offer private coaching sessions for Vietnamese and international parents around the world.

My Journey

Born and raised in Vietnam, I later earned my Master’s degree in Education from the School for International Training in Vermont, USA. My career path has taken me from corporate training to leading international programs, and now, to what I feel is my life’s calling: empowering parents to raise children with compassion, clarity, and connection.

After becoming a mother of two, I realized how much pressure modern parents face trying to raise confident, kind, and emotionally intelligent children while also juggling careers, financial stress, and their own inner struggles. I decided to commit my life to helping parents not just survive but thrive in parenting and in life.

I use a variety of coaching tools, including reflective questioning, role-play, inner child work, and neuroscience-based practices to help parents access their own wisdom and create lasting change.
