Being a mother was a dream for me, and I thought it would be an easy and smooth thing filled with daily fun and no challenges. When I became a mother of two kids, my dream came true, I felt the blessings. But I also had to figure how difficult it could be to survive and thrive in this forever journey of love, happiness, challenges, and struggles. I began searching for the magical parenting recipes. It took me a while to realize that the parenting recipe is not there. I needed to create my own unique recipe. I found myself learning from my children, my experience, and my challenges. I encouraged myself to open my mind and heart to learn, especially from my children who inspire me in every way.

My background in sociology and psychology, and my 15 years of working experience in child development and protection programs with teachers, parents, foster parents, and children from different ages have provided me with the needed experience to be your coach. I will listen and we will learn together through your parenting, and through discussing various research and educational ideas and approaches. Throughout the process I will encourage you to discover what best works for you and your family.

Due to stresses and lack of self-care many parents are making their lives harder, avoiding themselves and fearing a sense of selfishness. Therefore, most of our unwanted parenting perceptions are due to deep stresses. We are trying to avoid what we want and who we really are. To simplify what is happening around us and start to be kind and appreciative to ourselves, coaching can help. The coaching process takes us along a path to discover family strengths and opportunities through a strength-based approach. Together we will dream the change you’re longing for, then reach to a level where you begin to discover yourself and your family's strengths and opportunities. The coaching process offers thought-provoking ideas and inspiration for more self-awareness. Through regular meetings we will develop a plan with simple steps and actions for desired change. Our coaching process also allows you more self-reflective time until you are confident, able to create a more nurturing and supportive family atmosphere.

My parenting journey led me to my passion and mission in life. Being a parent coach inspires me to motivate parents to open their hearts and minds along with a greater appreciative sense of themselves and their families.

As a mother and a parent coach I would love to go along with you on how to change areas in life that are no longer serving you. And help you consider what is happening to you as persons and parents as an opportunity to learn and grow.

What Parents Say After Coaching With Me

I was a  desperate unconfident mother fearing failure and scarcity in my parenting. Irene’s coaching opened my eyes to see my real strengths and how blessed and great I am. I figured out that although I am not perfect and nobody is perfect, I am a good enough mother for my children.
