This is where I come in

As a PCI Certified Parent Coach™, I help parents of toddlers to teens reimagine parenting. We address challenges of today’s world by discovering strengths, aligning actions with values, and bringing more energy and joy to families.

I spent many years as an educator, interacting with parents and children. Through this experience and as a mother of three children, I have seen how the influences of today’s world impact families. The media presents images that do not share or align with healthy family values; use of technology in the hands of children opens the world to them, both good and bad; and parents are bombarded with thoughts and ideas on what is best.

My goal is to help develop clarity about what is important to parents and to build on their strengths to reimagine parenting based on their hopes and dreams. We all have aspirations for how we want our lives to be—what we want for our children—how our days should go. I work with parents to reach that ideal through a unique coaching partnership.

What Parents Say After Coaching With Me

We had an incredible parent coaching experience with Denise. Sessions were a great opportunity for us to think deeply about what we value as parents, how we want to raise our daughters, and how to work together effectively as parents. We could tell throughout the entire process that Denise deeply cared about our family. She did a great job personalizing our sessions, hearing from us things we wanted to focus on, and designing conversations and exercises on those topics. We would highly recommend working with Denise to any parent.

Those challenging days of remote learning and self-isolation were made more manageable with Denise’s help. She listened carefully as I shared different parenting struggles as they arose and provided insightful feedback that helped me to alter my perspective and see the big picture in terms of the developmental needs of a six- and eight-year-old. Denise’s weekly action plans and goal-setting helped me find solutions when feeling discouraged by my kids’ behavior.
