Being a mother of three sons is challenging, yet rewarding. Through my jounry with my children I realised I do not need to be a perfect or great mum but a Loving Mum. Being present for them, meeting their needs, and building a strong relation based on trust and respect helped me to deal with my daily challenges. But, my major challenge started when they turned into teenagers! I was in need of support and guidnace to deal with the pressure and demands during this transitional phase. Fortunately, this what I found in my PCI journey. Joining the PCI Parent Coaching Institute gave me many insights, tools, and skills which helped me to be more confident and capable to relate and connect to my children through positive parenting strategies. I learnt to comprehend and understand their feelings, meet their needs, and mostly appreciate their individuality and uniqueness.
I have 17 years experience working in the early childhood sector and with special needs children. I have always felt that parents need all the support and care, as well as someone to feel their feelings and value their fears and concerns. Parents and I established positive relationships built on trust and confidence. I supported them with their struggles and challenges, and provided them with tools and skills to raise resilient, confident, and happy children.
