I have been married for 24 years and am the mom of three beautiful daughters. I have been in the field of education for the past 25 years—as an elementary and pre-school teacher and then as the director of my own pre-school. I have successfully worked with many parents! Becoming a PCI Parent Certified Parent Coach® is the fulfillment of one of my dreams. I focus my coaching practice on parents of preschoolers, but I enjoy coaching parents with children of all ages. As a parent coach I inspire, support, and provide information that is customized to your particular situation. Through thought-provoking questions I help clarify issues, develop dreams, and bring joy and excitement back to parenting.

I became a PCI Parent Certified Parent Coach® as a result of 20 years of teaching experience where I've seen first-hand the dramatic impact that positive parenting can have on student achievement. As a reading specialist I know that my struggling first grade readers, as well as the gifted students, deserve an effective, joyful parent. The parents I coach can depend on my enthusiasm, support, and resources to effect positive, fulfilling change in a stressful life. As a result of our coaching, you will be involved in a life-changing process that will improve the quality of you and your family's life. Join with me to be the best parent you can be!

I am the mom of a middle school daughter and elementary school son. In pursuing my studies in media theory and media literacy at San Francisco State University, I became very concerned about mass media's impact on our culture. Seeking Parent Coach Certification® from the PCI was a natural fit. I am thrilled to be a PCI Parent Certified Parent Coach® with the opportunity to help parents successfully rear their children in our challenging media age. I work with my clients to help reduce their stress load in this chaotic society and to support them to achieve their highest aspirations. Since informed healthy parenting is essential for the health of our society, I see my work with parents as part of a larger contribution that excites and inspires me.

I've worked with children and families as a direct service provider and as an evaluator for over 15 years. But I consider my most rewarding and significant accomplishment to be raising my two daughters (ages 20 and 23)—which involved "on-the-job training" to address the needs of a highly gifted child. I would love to share my insights and collaborate with you on your parenting journey. We focus on promoting your self-care, while addressing your gifted child's unique intellectual, social, emotional and behavioral needs. We will confront the cultural bias against academic ability and intellectual curiosity. By sharing stories of our parenting discoveries we identify your deepest longings, unleash your creativity, and make your dreams come true!
